Flavor Buffet: 5/13/2022

Hello! Happy Friday. I know it has been a while since I’ve shared a new Buffet; life has been busy! Thank you for your patience and thanks for being here. I’m so glad you’re checking in to read the latest post.

While the goal is to post at least once each week, the priority is to simply be writing more often and sharing it with all of you. I’ve fully settled into my new job and things feel far more organized, which is good! Now, let’s get to the links.

Caught my attention…

As a sneaker collector (of sorts), I’m always on the lookout for pairs that are fashionable and functional since I walk a lot every day. I can confirm that this style from Nike is very comfy, cushy, and good for multi-mile days.

I’d like to have brunch on our deck, in the sunshine, and serve Smashed Pea Toasts.

Who else is watching the final episodes of ‘This is Us’? The tone isn’t the most uplifting, but I can’t miss it.

How timely?! I am currently searching for a bench for our bedroom. Scouring this list immediately.

A great, feel-fancy-at-home dinner option: Pan-Fried Sole with Lemon. Would love this with a grilled veggie and GF baguette. Outside on the deck, of course.

For something sweet, I’d like to make these lemon white chocolate scones very soon. It’s time to get back to baking!

And in awesome, TV-series-returning news, ‘Hacks’ (HBO Max) is finally back with Season Two! See ya, I have to go watch…

Consider going out…

FRANK in Beverly, MA has excellent brunch (GF bread available), an outdoor dining area, and the loveliest servers and bartenders. Go!

Legal Sea Foods (Chestnut Hill location) is one of our favorites for a great, relaxed atmosphere and plenty of GF options. Our preference is for the bar since it’s in a large, bright room with floor-to-ceiling windows and a retractable roof!

Twist Bakery Cafe (Burlington and Millis) is a go-to since the entire menu is gluten free. Go for the breakfast, stay for lunch, and make sure to order a box of baked goods to go (I love the birthday cake cookie even when it’s not my birthday.)

Could add to cart…

The J.Crew Seaside Short is a hot-summer-day essential and they’re currently on sale!

I really like this new Kyoto style from Birkenstock. No, I don’t need them.

Will report back if this short-sleeve sweater from Alex Mill (cotton and linen) becomes a warm-weather staple in my wardrobe.

A favorite V-Neck Pocket Tee from Madewell that’s great to wear all summer long (buy a few!).

And in the splurge category, I cannot decide if these Loewe Flow Runner PVC sneakers would actually be comfortable.

Have a great weekend! Relax, unwind, enjoy.

Mollie
