Hello! I’m Mollie.

I’m so glad you’re here. Before I share some quick facts about myself, let me give you a brief background on how Gluten Free Mollie D came to be.

I began my Instagram account (@glutenfreemollied) after my Celiac Disease diagnosis in 2013. I tackled my new gluten free life head-on and read everything I could find about how, and what, I needed to eat for the rest of my life. That’s correct. There is no cure for Celiac Disease except to follow a strict gluten free diet, forever. Honestly? This could be much worse! The “medication” for this disease is food. I love food! And making sure I was only eating gluten free food turned out to be a lot more manageable than I ever anticipated.

My Instagram account quickly became the spot where I shared every gluten free meal I was eating, every day. I love food and photography so this newfound creative outlet was a great match for sharing my gluten free life with the world. Fast-forward a few years later, I decided to launch this website, glutenfreemollied.com, to go beyond just gluten free meals. This blog is now the home to dinner reviews, recipes, baking adventures, restaurant guides, product discussions, and most recently, lifestyle.

Beyond my passion for (gluten free) food, I am passionate about being optimistic, spreading positivity, feeling great, and bringing joy to others in this world. I always hope to provide you with a solution to make your daily life better and to show you that it’s important to recognize, and appreciate, the little things. I love to find the joy in the everyday. And I am here to bring that joy to you.
