Flavor Buffet: 7/1/2022
Hello! Happy Friday and hello July! Wow. June just flew right by, didn’t it?
Considering the speed of summer seems to be double that of the rest of the year, I’m fully committed to enjoying every single second of my favorite season. I love the ease of these months and the generally more-relaxed tone of everything, especially my wardrobe. Cotton and linen daily, please.
In other news, our 6th(!) wedding anniversary is at the end of July and I’m so excited! Plans for deciding on a few, fun activities to celebrate begin now since my personal plan-making skills aren’t always top-notch despite my profession. A story for another day!
Meanwhile, let’s get to the Buffet and a very-well-deserved long weekend. Enjoy!

We made these Lebanese Chicken Meatballs this week for dinner and they were superb! For the record, we skipped the recipe’s dressing and served them with a garlic-yogurt sauce on the side.
On the shellfish front, I would consider Tomato Toast with Buttered Shrimp for an alternative to the classic July 4th BBQ.
Finally, it’s always a good day for pancakes and this recipe by Alison Roman is fantastic.
A shoutout to the J.Crew Seaside Short for being the best on scorching hot summer days.
Call me convinced and sold, AYR tops are as fabulous as advertised. The Deep End is comfy, cool, and works for every type of outing.
My search for new bedding continues as I strongly consider the Hudson Park Collection that’s on sale this weekend.
Summer TV! I’d highly recommend the new season of Only Murders in the Building (HuLu), Loot (Apple TV+), and Hacks (HBO Max).
