Flavor Buffet: 5/14/2021
Hello! Happy Friday.
The sun is shining, second day in a row, and it feels glorious. I'm so grateful for the sun this week as it has made life a lot easier and much nicer overall. Typing away on the deck is a gift and I want to savor every moment since this isn’t a year-round activity here in the northeast.
Plans for the weekend include continuing to enjoy this great spring weather in every way possible and perhaps some delicious takeout eaten - where else - outside in the sun. :) In other news, our yard is green and blooming so check out my Instagram stories for daily floral updates (those lilacs above are from the driveway!) and general spring merriment.
Life isn’t always the easiest, but the birds chirping and the sun shining really do help. And a large iced coffee. ;)
Please go get vaccinated if you haven’t already; it’s the easiest appointment ever.

The countdown continues as we’ve now received our second dose of the vaccine and it’s almost (almost!) time to go out to eat. We will eat outside, because al fresco dining is delightful, and I just can’t wait. I don’t know where we will go first, but I think it’s time to start perusing my dining guides, Bar Bites, once again…
