Happy Friday, everyone!

There has been a stretch of stellar weather around here this week and I am loving every moment of it. You see, it’s quite convenient when sunshine-filled days coincide with the time one selects for their staycation. ;) We’ve been enjoying a few days away from work by celebrating my birthday and chilling out as much as possible. It’s been delightful!

Now, let’s get to this week’s Buffet! I wouldn’t forget about it - even amidst a few days “away.” Find below a few summery recipes, our latest favorite takeout, and goodies you may want to order.

Have a great weekend!

COOK

Corn & Chickpea Bowl with Miso-Jalapeno Tahini - Every word of this sounds delicious especially since corn is at its peak right now. Plus, it’s naturally gluten free.

Gorditas con Camarones - I’d love to make these very soon with fresh, local shrimp. Yum!

Goat Cheese Marionberry Habanero Ice Cream - I was fortunate to receive an ice cream maker as a birthday gift and this flavor is on my list of “flavors to make.” If you’re curious, the list is quite long…

Here are our original recipes, if you’re looking for more! Updates coming soon.

DINE

Our summer of dining-at-home reigns supreme, but this week we broke the mold for multiple(!) trips to J.T. Farnham’s for their incredible fried seafood options. We visited on my birthday. And the next day, too.

Yes, they can make all of it gluten free! Even the onion rings. I know, I am definitely a Woodman’s fan, but you gotta try Farnham’s. It’s stellar seafood. Just a note: this spot is cash only.

SHOP

While it’s only been two nights, I’m pretty much sold on my new slip silk pillowcase and silk hair-ties. Highly recommend both products! What an excellent gift. ;)

Cook and bake for a cause - order one of these snazzy cookie spatulas and get baking while also supporting the No Kid Hungry campaign.

Reporting back on the Outdoor Voices sports bras: fantastic! I’m a fan after working out in them for a couple weeks (they wash well, too). Here is one of my favorites and this is the other.

Loving local products more than ever these days and Duxbury Saltworks makes one terrific product. I’m using this sea salt daily.

Going on record to say the gluten free cupcakes at Crave in Beverly are top-notch. I’d recommend ordering all of the flavors. ;)

Enjoy!
