In a close battle of the mild versus spicy, the mild bunch won by just 5 votes! It went back and forth a bit and I was hoping my spicy group would pull through, but I guess the majority really prefer the more mellow salsa flavors. I get it! There are times when I crave the medium-level: when I’m snacking in the kitchen! And times when I prefer the spiciest: while enjoying margaritas and other food with friends! Much like most foods and specific tastes, one’s preference (mine for sure) is heavily influenced by mood and setting! Enjoy your mild salsa my friends, there will always be room for you at the table. :)
Well! Adding shrimp really overpowered, but it was nice to see that everyone enjoys adding some extra heft to their salads. I mean, I love a basic Caesar with not much more than lettuce, Parmesan, and that dressing, but I find that it’s elevatated a lot by adding in shrimp, or chicken, or whatever else you may dream up. While in Vegas, I had this Greek salad a few times and always loved the grilled shrimp on top. It added the perfect extra bite and I appreciated the extra protein during busy days. Protein-filled salads for the win!
Well, thank you for this insight! I’m honored to know that most of you wouldn’t mind a little beyond-dinner info about our other meals/snacks during the week. While it may not be the most overwhelming information, it might be helpful for those seeking daytime ideas for breakfast and lunches that are gluten free.
